Source Reduction and Resource Recycling

1. In order to maintain the campus environment, improve the cleanliness of garbage trucks, reduce general waste, and increase recycling, starting from August 1, 2014, the "no littering" policy will be implemented. The garbage collection points within the campus will be removed, and the garbage collection method will change to scheduled pickups by garbage trucks. Each building will coordinate with the campus garbage truck patrol schedule to ensure that garbage is collected at specified times and locations.

2. To enhance the convenience of recycling, recycling will take place every afternoon from Monday to Friday, in conjunction with the garbage truck rounds, as well as on Saturdays.

3. General business waste is classified into general waste, recyclables, and kitchen waste.

4. An overview of recyclable items includes paper (general paper, etc.), paper containers (paper utensils, aluminum foil, etc.), aluminum and tin cans, glass bottles, plastic containers, electronic products, and information items, as specified by the Environmental Protection Administration.

5. In accordance with the guidelines of the Environmental Protection Administration and the Ministry of Education, and in response to government efforts to reduce the use of disposable items, the school aims to reduce the use of disposable tableware and packaged drinking water in activities such as meetings, training sessions, and events. Please provide and use reusable tableware, or bring your own environmentally friendly cup and utensils.
