Green Procurement Business

This business was implemented in January 2001 in accordance with the relevant provisions of "Government agencies may give priority to purchasing environmental protection products" in Article 96 of the "Government Procurement Law".

Article 22 of the "Resource Recycling and Recycling Law" also stipulates that agencies, public institutions and schools should give priority to purchasing government-approved environmental protection products and conduct related promotion activities.

"The first batch of government agencies, public schools, public enterprises or institutions, and military agencies should give priority to purchasing environmental protection product items" also lists in detail the environmentally friendly product items that agencies should give priority to purchasing and their annual purchasing proportions.

Designated procurement items of the agency’s green procurement promotion plan

  1. Office stationery and paper supplies: automation (OA) paper, paper stationery and writing paper, toilet paper.
  2. Office equipment: computer equipment (including personal computers, mainframes, mice, monitors, keyboards, printers, and recycled toner cartridges for printers), black and white photocopiers, fax machines, and notebook computers.
  3. Electrical appliances: refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, microwave ovens, dehumidifiers, lighting equipment (energy-saving sophisticated fluorescent lamps, fluorescent lamp starters, fluorescent tubes), multi-functional business machines, water dispensers.
  4. Others: two-stage water-saving toilets, compost, cleaning products, water-based coatings, recycled wood recycled products (including wooden furniture), packaging supplies using recycled paper, plastic and rubber recycled products, plastic pipes, building insulation materials, Resource-based brick building materials, natural circulation solar water heaters, resource recycling building materials, and biodegradable plastics.
